Physical and chemical tests

  • Use a clean bottle and rinse it two or three times with the water being sampled.
  • Fill completely and cap tightly.

Microbiological tests

  • Use a sterile bottle. Do not rinse it and do not touch the inside of the cap.
  • Flush the tap or pump briefly before collecting.
  • Keep the sample cool.

For every sample

  • Label with source, date and time of collection.
  • Deliver to the laboratory as soon as possible.
  • Tell us the purpose of the test, especially if it is for a regulatory submission.
